The aim of this editorial was to inspire creative, non-traditional, innovative couples that are looking to have an elopement by the sea. For the palette we played with a tonal explosion of pink, framed by crisp black lines - colourful, while still being refined and contemporary. We used tulle, pearls, and rope to make the tablescape and ceremony tactile and visual experiences, intentionally juxtaposing soft lines with the jagged, natural textures of barnacles and shells.
Everything from the sugar wisps on the cake to the translucent vellum of the stationery tells the story of the contradictions of the sea: the immense power of waves crashing on a cliffside, bubbling over the graceful, quiet wonderland just below the surface. After months of paralysis of the wedding industry, we wanted this imagery to be about joy - about a couple who chooses to fill their elopement day with meaningful luxuries, and plenty of time for adventure too!
This team absolutely adored coming together to create again, in a safe and considerate way; we want couples to know we are here to bring to life the celebration that is most true to them, and that an intimate day like this can be all the more magical.
