The concept at the heart of this design was a celebration of intimacy – that complicity that only hundreds of whispered conversations can bring. We wanted to show that an elopement in the city need not be any less impactful, heartfelt, or full of beauty than a larger wedding. Our couple is modern, stylish, and unapologetic; they are connoisseurs of the finer things in life, but value emotions, experience, and memories above all else. This translated into styling our boutique hotel nestled in the columned streets of Pimlico with a muted palette of greys, neutrals, and pale mauves, with the fierce femininity of a bride who knows who she is. We took inspiration from trends in interior design to create a chic and intimate wedding aesthetic that, while paying homage to traditions, revels in the freedom that couples have in designing a day that truly reflects them and their values.
