I started working with the lovely N&B in the Summer of 2021 - when the couple decided that, after a challenging and uncertain planning journey, they would have a small, intimate wedding celebration later that year. After multiple cancellations and posponements, their priority was to host their loved ones in a peaceful, welcoming setting in the UK countryside - somewhere where their nearest and dearest could finally come together. We chose the stunning Wilderness Reserve, which is a stunning 5,000 acre estate in Suffolk made up of exclusive-use country houses, luxury holiday cottages, and off-grid retreats. The manor house itself, Sibton Park, is a Grade II* listed Georgian country house and it was in these beautiful halls, rooms, and orangeries that we hosted the wedding weekend in early November 2021. The styling was inspired by the autumn, with a minimalist, understated sense of luxury - sophisticated, seasonal, and pared back. We started the weekend with a bonfire welcome night, listened to their wedding vows whil sitting in a floral-woven circle in the Orangery, and finished it with brunch on a sunny, crisp winter's day. At a time when rules and regulations were changing by the day, I'm so thankful that this celebration was able to finally go ahead - with fewer guests, but even more magic and love.
